Red Hook Community Center & Red Hook Responds released the findings from the Community Needs Assessment covering the greater Red Hook & Rhinebeck area. The findings will be presented at two public meetings. Please see the Press Release for details.

Village and Town residents may bring household food scraps to the Town of Red Hook Recycling Center for composting. This service is free of charge and operates during normal Recycling Center hours.

Patriot's Pen Essay Competition for Middle Schoolers

6th through 8th graders enter the VFW’s Patriot’s Pen youth essay contest for a chance to win more than $1.4 million in state and national awards. Each first place state winner receives a minimum of $500 and the national first place winner wins $5,000!

Voice of Democracy Essay Competition for High Schoolers

Established in 1947, the Voice of Democracy audio-essay program provides high school students (9th through 12th) with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.

2023 Red Hook Summer Lawn Concert Series at "Eat-N-Go" at 7509 North Broadway

Free live summer concert series at Eat-N-Go in Red Hook. Every Friday night 6-8 pm from beginning of June until end of September. Bring a chair or blanket some food and enjoy an evening of local bands performing live.
